“Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”
1 Timothy 6:18
Successful people are givers, not hoarders. As a result, I believe in the importance of charitable giving. I‘ve been truly blessed over the years with the success my companies have seen. From the beginning, sharing that success with others has been paramount.
Every day, here locally and around the world, there are less fortunate people needing a helping hand and charitable giving is an important way in which the blessings God has bestowed on me can be put to use furthering His grace even more.
Forms of Charitable Giving
While donating money to charitable causes can be an invaluable way to make a positive difference in the world, I also do my best to not forget there are many forms of charitable giving. Time, resources, support, helping advocate a cause… These are but a few other ways in which we can give.
When that giving is taking place, whatever the form, if we give with our hearts, the emotional and spiritual reward we receive in return is immeasurable.
Each of us is called to give and serve in our own way. Several organizations are near and dear to my own heart. Among them are World Vision, Smile Train, Tronie Foundation and Foursquare Children of Promise, to name but a few.
